Access: Jean Allemane's grave is located between Avenues Carette and Aguado, close to the small central alley between the two. It is in the second row, just behind the tomb of the Perdon family (Div. 89).

Typographer. He fought against the Second Empire. During the siege, he belonged to the national guard. During the Commune, he was elected President of the Council of the Fifth Legion, and also chaired the rue d'Arras club. After fighting on the barricades, he was arrested on 28 May and sentenced to deportation to New Caledonia. On his return, he became involved in the socialist movement (deputy for the XIth arrondissement from 1901 to 1906). Author of "Mémoires d'un communard".
